CLUBBISH draws its inspiration from the aesthetics of nightclubs and photos depicting eccentric and extravagant personalities dressed up for parties, ultimately focusing on the role of clothing in relation to the body during the movement of dance and seduction. The silhouettes emphasize the importance of the body in erotic movement, which is why the study concentrates on the garment’s adherence to the body, transparency, and the role of cut-outs. The six characters created aim to seduce and capture the attention of those around them through their dance and the hypnotic allure of their headpieces. The excitement of nightclub life comes alive in the collection’s photoshoot, with particular attention to lighting, effects, and scenographic materials, bringing the atmosphere to life.
moodboard
In this collection, where the protagonists aim to be hypnotic objects for those watching them dance, the head ornament is essential. The HEADDRESS is a statement of personality, a desire to expand into space.
TRANSPARENCY exists as a concept throughout the entire collection. The dress becomes a boundary between interiority and exteriority; through the veiled-revealed effect, the body radiates through the filter of fabric and cuts.
CUT OUT is the common denominator: diagonal and horizontal lines, both symmetrical and asymmetrical, both closed and open.
